Description island Île d'ArzThe inhabited very small island of Île d'Arz (local name Île-d’Arz) is part of (the island group) Golf van Morbihan and is located in the country of France, Western Europe. The distance to the mainland is, quite close about 1.1 km. The surface-area of the island is 2 km2 and is therefore 0.005 x times greater than the island of Isle of Wight. The island lies in the Bay of Biscay and the total coastal length is about 10.7 km and the dimensions of the island are approximately 3.5 km by 1.5 km (maximum width). The island is North-northeast - South oriented. The highest point is 17 meter.
