Description island JuistThe inhabited small island of Juist is part of (the island group) Wadden Islands and is located in the country of Germany, Western Europe. The distance to the mainland is about 6.8 km. The surface-area of the island is 13.6 km2 and is therefore 0.036 x times greater than the island of Isle of Wight. The island lies in the Wadden Sea and the total coastal length is about 35.8 km and the dimensions of the island are approximately 16 km by 0.90 km (maximum width). The island is West - East oriented. The highest point is 22 meter and is named Juister Wasserturm.
