Description island Middelplaten WestThe uninhabited very small island of Middelplaten West is part of (the island group) Veese Meer islands and is located in the country of The Netherlands, Western Europe. The surface-area of the island is 0.330 km2 and is therefore 0.001 x times greater than the island of Isle of Wight. The island lies in the Veerse Meer and the total coastal length is about 2.5 km and the dimensions of the island are approximately 1.1 km by 0.57 km (maximum width). The island is West - East oriented. The highest point is only 1 meter.
