Description island RùmThe inhabited fairly large island of Rùm is part of (the island group) Inner Hebrides and is located in the country of Great Britain , Western Europe. The distance to the mainland is about 21.4 km. The surface-area of the island is 107 km2 and is therefore 0.282 x times greater than the island of Isle of Wight. The island lies in the Atlantic Ocean and the total coastal length is about 49.3 km and the dimensions of the island are approximately 14 km by 13.5 km (maximum width). The island has No maindirection-circular. The highest point is 812 meter and is named Askival.
