Description island SyltThe inhabited fairly large island of Sylt is part of (the island group) North Frisian Islands and is located in the country of Germany, Western Europe. The nearest (main) land is The Netherlands and is not the country to which the island belongs. The island is North-northeast - South oriented. The highest point is 52.5 meter and is named Uwe-Düne.
