Description island TiengemetenThe inhabited small island of Tiengemeten is part of (the island group) Haringvliet - islands and is located in the country of The Netherlands, Western Europe. The distance to the mainland is, quite close about 0.7 km. The surface-area of the island is 10.7 km2 and is therefore 0.028 x times greater than the island of Isle of Wight. The island lies in the Haringvliet and the total coastal length is about 16.1 km and the dimensions of the island are approximately 7.7 km by 2 km (maximum width). The island is West-northwest - East-southeast oriented. The highest point is only 3 meter and is named Vliedberg. The coordinates (latitude, longitude) of the island (center) for GPS are 51.74 (51°44'22.0344), 4.31 (4°18'25.8912).The population is 11 and the population density is thus on 1.00 inhabitants per square kilometer (compared Isle of Wight 364 inhabitants / km²).
