Description island UsedomThe inhabited large island of Usedom is located in the country of Germany, Western Europe. The distance to the mainland is, quite close about 0.2 km. The surface-area of the island is 372.4 km2 and is therefore 0.981 x times greater than the island of Isle of Wight. The island lies in the Baltic Sea and the total coastal length is about 232 km and the dimensions of the island are approximately 49.5 km by 43 km (maximum width). The island is Northwest - Southeast oriented. The highest point is 69 meter and is named Golm.
