Description island VeermansplaatThe uninhabited small island of Veermansplaat is part of (the island group) Grevelingen - islands and is located in the country of The Netherlands, Western Europe. The surface-area of the island is 3.2 km2 and is therefore 0.008 x times greater than the island of Isle of Wight. The island lies in the Grevelingenmeer and the total coastal length is about 10.2 km and the dimensions of the island are approximately 4.6 km by 1.3 km (maximum width). The island is North-northwest - South-southeast oriented. The highest point is only 2 meter.
