Map island PellwormThe surface-area of the island is 39.6 km2 and is therefore 0.104 times greater than the island Isle of Wight. The island lies in the Wadden Sea and the total coastal length is about 30.5 km and the dimensions of the island are approximately 9 km by 6 km (maximum width). The island is West-southwest - East-northeast oriented. The highest point is only 2 meter and is named Deich - dijk om eiland.
